Dearest Family,
Just a quick note - I promise!!!!
I am going to leave in a few minutes to go
to Star Valley with Margaret and "the gang"!!! I have really dragged my
feet about going but finally decided it might be the last time before
Winter and it's fun to go. Margaret and I went to the early meetings
this morning - 8:30 a.m. and now I need to pack. We plan to come back
next Saturday and stop in Logan to go to the Utah State Football game so
if you need me this is her number in Etna, Wyoming. 307-883-2015 and
don't hesitate to call.
I had such a WONDERFUL time yesterday. Ron
is an aluminae of Stanford University and he bought tickets for the BYU/Stanford
football game and invited me to come go with them. I met them at their
home at 3 p.m. and then they left my car close to the stadium so I could
leave early and avoid the traffic coming home. Grandpa Russ, Mimi and
the Grondahls were also there and it was fun to visit with them- Mimi is
one happy young woman and that is GREAT to witness - she waved her
"pom-pom" and sang all through the game!!! Russell and his friend/girl
Sarah were with us and so were Jimmy and his friend Tyler - it was an
absolutely gorgeous afternoon and evening and I LOVED being there. I
had hoped Lee Anna and her friend from Brigham City would show up but
they were too far away from our seats. THANK YOU WOOLLEYS!!! BYU was
winning when I left and five minutes later they were losing - the score
ended up at 18-14 and BYU should have won!!!!
YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO MY CONDO FOR GENERAL
CONFERENCE - after the morning session. I am going to have chicken
enchiladas - Ann said she would bring dessert and we'll go from there.
I HOPE YOU WILL ALL WANT TO COME.
