Dearest Family,

HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO KATIE ON SATURDAY - WOW, ANOTHER TEENAGER IN OUR FAMILY!!!  I am anxious to hear about her birthday party plans - Katie is a "party animal".  I like to think she takes after me because I LOVE parties.

Patrice - thank you SO much for your letter.  Emily - I LOVED talking to you - you are your same sweet wonderful young woman!!!  Your "bunking party" sounded fun.  Timothy and Jesse were already sound asleep and that makes me happy that they have such good health habits because it wasn't even 9 p.m. their time yet.  The  Roy Mellor family is going to Gulf Shores, Alabama this week and I know they will have a GREAT time.  I hope Chris and Wayne Smith will be there because they REALLY enjoy Roy and Patrice and their family - Wayne tells me that Roy is just like Lynn.  I was happy to hear that Suzie is doing good too - Emily was excited to tell me they had been to her home for dinner.  I hope they are planning a trip to Utah this Summer - I would love to have the children come stay with me if they would like to.

John - thank you SO much for your phone call.  I could make millions of dollars if I could invent a "non-worry pill".  I worry about him being so far away and in such a dangerous place but when I talk to him he sounds like he is next door and doing fine - he assures me that Tel Aviv is safe but I read about killings there all the time.  I drove by your Orem home yesterday and it looks SO beautiful.  There is a lot for sale in "Pear Hollow" just East from John's home for $125,000.00 and its location isn't nearly as good as Johns.  I wish he could sell his home so he didn't have to worry about it.

Bob and Patrice - what a treat your letters and pictures from your trip have been!!!  I have just LOVED coming to the computer and hearing about and seeing everything you have seen.  THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!  I was especially thrilled to hear about the ruins you have been to - Ha!!!  Do you remember how you refused to go Ayhutthya (sp.?) in Thailand?  That was one of my favorite places in all of Thailand because of its history and ruins.  Bob - before you know it you will turn into an excellent tourist!  I am SO anxious to hear all about everything - I was sick to miss your visit yesterday!!!

Annie - I was SO disappointed to find you not home yesterday but I was happy to find your front door locked.  I hope you didn't mind that I found your West door unlocked - I stole some of your carrots to eat on my way home.  It looked like you have really been working in your yard - that's such a big job!!!  You have a beautiful home and yard.

Jeannie - I hope Barji got home yesterday.  I can just imagine how happy she is to be home for a little visit while Boyd is on some golf tours to Mexico and other places.  I keep forgetting to mention in my letters that he got a "hole in one" on his recent golf tour in Las Vegas - they gave him a watch as a prize!!!  GOOD FOR YOU BOYD!!!

I want to tell you about the meeting we had with the Title Company in American Fork last Monday.  Annie & Ron, Cheryl & Don and I met with a young man whose name is Chuck and another title officer whose name is Shelly.  Shelly seemed to have a "chip on her shoulder" but I was impressed with Chuck even though he has an electrical engineering degree and he's working for a title company - Ha!!!  I was SO appreciative to have Ron with us - he had really done his homework going over all the information we had on the boundary lines, etc. besides walking all over it.  Chuck and Ron had such a good relationship as they discussed everything and we left it that Chuck would get in touch with Ron and Ron would get in touch with us to finalize everything.  I was quite surprised that I had to send them a copy of my trust - I always have felt that was confidential.  I went to the Layton office of the First American Title company and they copied my trust and sent it to American Fork with their courier.  When I told John about everything he said, "it sounds like it might finally come to a resolution" - he has spent SO much time talking to the title people about it.  Cheryl has surely done a lot with it too.  I'll keep you informed.  What we want is for the title company to provide a surveyor who will put their permanent markers on all four corners of the property and have it include the fence lines.  Aunt Marvel went to court to get a "quiet-claim deed" that would assure us of the fence lines which amounts to about 10 acres.

I have had a busy week.  I had the condo board meeting at my home on Tuesday morning - as it turned out two members couldn't come so there were only three of us.  They are going to start re-conditioning the roads in the village this next week and that will be a mess but it has to be done.  They will just do one side at a time so we will be able to get to our condos.  I guess repairs are an on-going thing and they will start painting the round windows soon.  I went to a DUP meeting on Wednesday at the home of Davis County's "Pie Lady" - she made the most delicious apple pie, chocolate peanut butter treats, corn pop treats, etc., etc. and I'm trying to lose weight.

I went to Spanish Fork yesterday to go to an 80th birthday party for a friend we knew in Billings, Montana.  IT WAS A LONG WAYS TO GO!!!   Bob and Louise Ericson have ten children and each one came for the party - I heard so much about all their children and it was fun to meet them.  They had flown in from all over the world and that was impressive.  One of their sons lives in Spanish Fork and that is why it was held there - Bob told me that this son is a "big-wig" at BYU and head of the technology department.  Some of their children are "weird"!!!  They have 9 boys and one girl and the girl is the most outstanding.  Bob and Louise haven't changed since 15 years ago when we left Billings.

I went by the Woolleys to see them but they weren't home.  I drove by John's home and there were quite a few boys in front of it so I didn't dare find the key while they were looking so I drove in back of it to see if there were more boys in his back yard but there weren't.  I then drove down that street by UVSC and ran into Shawna Theobald who was out for her exercise walk.  We must have visited for over an hour and that was fun!!!

I must get ready for church.  I LOVE EACH ONE OF YOU SO VERY MUCH.  PLEASE BE SO VERY CAREFUL IN EVERYTHING DO.  Grandma B XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
