Thailand Letter
Dearest John, August 17, 1998 9 p.m.
Thank you for your letter today. I am surprised that my Visa card has come to you already - THAT'S GREAT!!! I wonder how they will handle the PIN number - I think they will send it and then not activate it until I call them to say I have received it and how will I do it from Bangkok????????????? Things will work out and of that I am sure!!!
Do you think you could apply for me a new driver's license? I don't know how that will work!!!
Marc Hall just called me to tell me where I will be moving. I will go to “Bang Su” and train one of the new sister missionaries coming in and as of now I don't have a place to live. He said, “You need to find an apartment you will be comfortable in” - like I can just hop in my car and run around town looking for an apartment. There is a District Supervisor, a man, who is looking for one and I feel sure he will find a good one. OH ME!!!
I love you so very much John and thank you for all you do for me. MomXXXX0000
