BOB - WHAT A JOY TO RECEIVE YOUR PICTURES OF PHUKET AND A COPY OF MICHAEL'S TALK!!! I'm saving your talk Michael - I'M PROUD OF YOU!!! I read some of it to my room mates and they laughed at your description of my bathroom - it is weird to say the least!!! I LOVED THE PICTURES TOO - it said there were six but there were only five on the computer - I'll tell you the ones I received. Claire with the darling hat and it is an excellent picture of her - Michael with his scuba gear on in the sea - Bob and Michael walking on the beach - Bob and Michael on a boat that looks very much like a fishing boat and one with Claire and either Bob or Michael in the sea. My roommates and I can't believe how clear they are - THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Your Youth Conference sounded really good - I too am surprised at how effective the BYU - EFY Counselors are in teaching the youth - they can really relate to them.
CLAIRE - THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR INFORMATION ABOUT MY RING!!! I am SO relieved that it isn't a fake - I have worried so much about that. I will let you all have it appraised when I die - I am satisfied with it knowing that it isn't just plain red and white glass. I think it is a beautiful ring!!! (Claire said that most jewelers in Utah will charge about $150 per appraisal unless you buy the ring from them so she took it to a jeweler who is a friend of Martha and Abel Porter and he did it for her.) I appreciate that very much!!! Janet was thrilled to hear your comments about her daughter - I thought it was Deniece but she is the daughter in California - other people have told Janet that Diane looks like a fashion model. The other woman who is coming with her is the mother of that scout who died in the Grand Canyon several years ago when he went for water for the other scouts. It will be fun to have them here - they are coming from July 15 - 23.
ANNIE - I WAS SO THRILLED TO HEAR FROM YOU TOO. I am SO excited to have you come and we will plan things when you get here - some things are a must - the Grand Palace, the Floating Market and a trip on the Chao Phraya river. I want you to see and do everything!!! You will love shopping here. Please send me your flight schedule when you get it. Do you think you could bring me a pair of neutral colored shoes - not too high of a heel but not flat either? I take a size 9 1/2 narrow and the people here look at me and laugh when I ask them for that big of a size. I really don't absolutely need them but the ones I am wearing look SO funny - like Mary Poppins shoes - Ha!!! I would also like some Utah t-shirts in a medium size - about 10. It doesn't matter if they are Jazz, Olympic or just Utah. I am SO sorry about Dr. Clayton's son - (Dr. Clayton has been a good friend and the Woolley's pediatrician for many years and his son died in a fall from a cliff in the mountains by their home.)
SUSANNA - I hope you have a WONDERFUL experience during your semester abroad. I can't believe you are going to Jerusalem and you will go and be back home before I get home again. How is Ryan??? Please write to me and tell me about things when you get there and don't forget to look up Liesel McBride.
Bob - Helen asked for your e-mail address. How could I not give it to her? Her daughter's brother-in-law is looking for an ENT partnership in Utah. You know how I feel about Helen so don't feel any obligation on my part. Enough said.
Helen is teaching a class of 5 lawyers right now and it is so loud I can't concentrate so I will close.
I LOVE YOU ALL SO VERY, VERY MUCH. PLEASE BE SO VERY, VERY CAREFUL. Grandma B
