Thailand Letter

Bangkok, Thailand
Dearest Family,
Just a note to tell Jeannie that I received her wonderful message. I also received your beautiful card and pictures of Ricky & Barji and their dates for Homecoming - I HAVE BEAUTIFUL GRANDCHILDREN!!! That came in the mail today. I love the picture of Rick, Ricky, Mary Ann, Sarah and Barji too - I can see Sarah's swollen cheeks - I'm glad that's over for her.
The weather has actually cooled down a little. I went into downtown Bangkok by myself this morning - I left at 10:45 and just got home and it is 9 p.m. I was either standing waiting for a bus or standing inside a bus for 6 hours. You just wouldn't believe the traffic and it's worse in the afternoon. I won't do that again. I went to get an ink cartridge for the computer printer and would you believe after all that time I still didn't find one - I AM SO MAD. We want to print those fabulous conference talks that Bob sent. I have told Virginia it is her turn to go look for one tomorrow - we think we have a lead as to where we might find one. I think of how easy it is to run to get one in Orem - it takes about 5 minutes instead of 10 hours. I did find some Estee Lauder makeup though so it wasn't a total waste of time.
I hope you all have a WONDERFUL time when you go on your various trips for UEA. I haven't heard where the Bob Mellors are going. Bob - you will never find Teptip Village on a map but you might find Sai Mai road. I took some pictures of Sai Mai and also the entrance into our little village - I'll send them to you so you can see how remote it is.
Thanks again so very much for keeping up with me. Those conference talks are pure gold Bob and you are SO thoughtful to do that for us!!!
I love you all so very, very much. PLEASE BE CAREFUL IN EVERYTHING. Grandma B
