HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO TIMOTHY ON SUNDAY!!! Timothy will be four years old and I hope he will have a birthday party - Emily is so capable she could put it on all by herself!!! Jesse will be trouble though - Ha!!! I will never forget when Timothy was born and PaPa and I went to Little Rock to welcome him. Roy & Patrice had just moved into their home and Suzie was there helping out. I can't believe how fast time goes by.
It is a dark and gloomy morning here in Orem today but the rain we are having is very welcome and I know the reason I am noticing it so much is because we have had bright sunny days for the last six months!!! We have had weather like the "Big Sky" country of Montana all Summer. It seems so funny to be confined to the indoors and know that I can't go out and change the water or do something in the yard - I may have to clean house!!!
The big news around here is the BYU beat Notre Dame on Saturday. I don't know how many of you watched the game but I knew that Ron would be watching it so I called him after it was over and he was excited too. I LOVED IT!!! I watch the Kathie Lee & Regis program in the mornings when I can and Regis is such a Notre Dame fan because that is his Alma Mater. I watched it this morning and it was SO funny to hear him talk about LaVell Edwards. He said that Edwards always has such a nondescriptive expression on his face (that wasn't the word he used but it meant the same) and yet when BYU won the game there were actually tears in his eyes. That would have been fine but then he added - "It just shows how much it means to teams like BYU when they can best Notre Dame". He did give credit to BYU though and said they were a good team.
You can tell I don't have any interesting news. The Woolleys didn't come over last night - they may have had something on too but I had a Relief Society Fireside I had to go to so I called and told them. I was also invited to an Eagle Scout Court of Honor for a young man who used to live in our ward but has recently moved. I was late for the Court of Honor but it was just excellent and I was glad I had gone. The Fireside was also very good. There is SO much talent in this area that it is unbelievable.
I have something on every single day this week. I cancelled our Presidency Meeting this morning - we will spend most of Thursday doing Relief Society "stuff" and there really wasn't anything we needed to discuss. I am going to help with the cooking demonstration on Thursday - Beth Tippets is going to make her cannelonis and she said she would do it if I helped her. This is the first time for night meetings - I HOPE IT WORKS!!!
