Dearest John & Julianna; Roy, Patrice, Emily, Timothy & Jesse; Bob, Claire, Michael, Laura, Brett & Katie; Rick, Jean, Ricky, Barbara Jean, Mary Ann & Sarah; and Ron, Ann, Susanna, Jessie, Russell, LeeAnna & Jimmy:
Juliana just left and it was SO fun to visit with her - it's the first time she has been over here since the wedding. She brought all he pictures for me to make selections from - she said for me to look through them and then give them to Ann and from Ann to Jean & Bob. I believe I will be able to choose the ones Roy & Patrice would like - if you want us to send them to you for your own selection let me know. There are some WONDERFUL pictures and I'll have a hard time making up my mind.
We had our Relief Society Presidency Meeting here this morning. This is "Sisterhood Month" and we'll all be happy to have it over with. The activities that are planned will be fun but getting them all organized takes a lot of time. Tomorrow we will go to the Jordan River Temple and have lunch together in the cafeteria after the session. Next Tuesday we will go to the Springville Art Museum to see their quilt exhibit (I have heard that it is really worthwhile) and then after we will go to the Oak Crest Inn for lunch. The last Tuesday of the month we are going to have a potluck picnic at the Wilcox' home. We won't have Homemaking meetings during July and August.
The Woolleys came over last night and it was fun to hear about Ann, LeeAnna, Jean, Mary Ann & Sarahs' trip to St. George. They said it was VERY HOT but they had a wonderful time. The girls had a lot of violin workshops and learned a lot. I had a darling postcard from Susanna & Jessie from SCOTLAND - I MISS THEM!!!
Rick came down to see me on Wednesday. Their Stake had their Youth Conference at camp Williams by Lehi and he was assigned to help them during their obstacle course activities so after that was over he came to visit. Ricky & Barji attended the Youth Conference and I saw the program and detailed plans and I was very impressed with all the effort that had gone into it. They have outstanding youth leaders in their Stake. Do you remember the Youth Conference in Arkansas? One year you went to Magnolia to the college there. Daddy always tried to go part of the time but I only went one time.
Ellen Mae came down last Thursday and we spent the day together. We went to "Chili's" for lunch and then went shopping. It was like "old" times and we had such a lot of fun. Louise Erickson from Billings came to see me on Sunday and it was fun to catch up on all the new from Montana.
I'm anxious to hear from Roy & Patrice. I tried to call you on Saturday and you weren't home - I'll bet you were in Connecticut.
