This is going to be a "quickie"!!! I just came home from attending Frances James' funeral in Salt Lake. I took a mutual friend of ours here and we left at 9 o'clock this morning and it's 4:30 now. We went to lunch afterwards and that took a little bit of time but the funeral was from 11:30 'till 2 p.m. It was really a production but very beautiful - she has two grandchildren who are professional entertainers and their songs were very nice. Frances had a good friend who is a former opera singer and she sang "I WALKED Today Where Jesus Walked" - the same song David Taylor sang at Daddy's funeral and I came undone. I brought Nicole Sondrup Price home from the funeral (she went up with her Grandmother) and we had such a good visit.
I have the most wonderful news for this letter. ROY & PATRICE ARE GOING TO HAVE A BABY. Patrice is due in November. I am SO thrilled - I just need to hold a little "family" baby. I have the opportunity to hold a lot of babies but not family babies!!! Roy says that Patrice is feeling really good and they have told Timothy & Emily - Roy Laughed as he told me that Emily said, "I hope it will be a little sister" - she will be happy no matter what it is and she will be such a lot of help this time.
I have talked to everybody but the Weinerts this week and I'm SO glad you are all doing so good - I know the Weinerts are doing good too. John is in Las Vegas - he went to Long Beach one day last week and the next day he left for Las Vegas and he won't be home until Thursday. He is very, very happy with his work and it is such a wonderful experience for him.
Ron & John came over one day last week to put the final touches on my sprinkling system. They had just a little bit of trouble getting all the "stations" to work but after they worked on it a little bit everything seems to be working great. I hope it continues.
Linda Bohn just called - they are trying to put together an "Arkansas" reunion for June 11th. Perry Bohn will be here. I gave them all your addresses expect for yours Roy - I wish you would be here for it though. They are really great hardworking people.
My sweet neighbor - Shauna Theobald - has a sister in the hospital and they are all so worried about her. She is 34 years old and had cardiac arrest - they got her to the hospital but they're worried that she was without oxygen too long.
I REALLY KEEP BUSY - PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL IN EVERYTHING YOU DO.
