Dearest John; Roy, Patrice, Emily & Timothy; Bob, Claire, Michael, Laura, Brett & Katie; Rick, Jean, Ricky, Barbara Jean, Mary Ann & Sarah; and Ron, Ann, Susanna, Jessie, Russell, LeeAnna & Jimmy:

I just came home from my class and it is so fun to be able to walk out the backyard - it takes me about five minutes. I'm glad the snow is all gone and with the rain we are having all the little piles of dirty snow will soon be gone too. I am SO anxious to get out in the yard and do some work - we had a pretty day on Friday so I worked out all day and I could hardly get out of bed on Saturday - Ha!!! I am REALLY out of shape.

This week is Birthday Week for Emily. It's hard for me to believe she will be five years old - I hope you have a really Happy Birthday Emily!!! I have been watching that storm they are having all along the East Coast and hoping it hasn't gone into Arkansas. I remember the years when we would have all the blossoms freeze just as they were coming out - I hope that doesn't happen to you. I have also been thinking about Chris and Wayne in Gulf Shores - I talked to them about a week ago and they were expecting Linda & Ricky and their five children down to spend a week with them. Their three little boys are holy terrors and they were hoping they could spend a lot of time and energy on the beach and with the weather they have had I'm sure they haven't been able to.

The big news for this letter is that Bob is going to Mexico. He is going on a humanitarian mission to do surgery on the little Mexican children. He'll leave this Thursday and come home on Sunday and he said they are taking a lot of equipment with them. I'M VERY PROUD OF YOU BOB!!! Claire said they have had a busy week with a piano festival being held in Salt Lake that their children participated in - what a wonderful opportunity for them. Was Brett able to play some "jazz"? Claire is going to take the children to the Homestead for the weekend that Bob is gone - I know they will have a great time.

The Woolleys came over last night and they are doing fine. Ann was in charge of the lesson and I got every question wrong - she is quite a taskmaster - Ha!!! The children all knew the answers - they have just finished reading the Book of Mormon. Ron is doing good - he says some days are better than others. It is going to be very hard for him to not do a lot of yard work now that it is coming Spring - Ann said he overdid on Saturday.

The Weinerts had a little vacation. Jean & Rick went to St. George with their neighbors for a few days - Rick and the men played golf and Jean and the ladies went shopping. Jean said they are about two weeks ahead of us with their flowers - their daffodils and crocus are all up. Ricky is going to stay with me when he comes to the BYU Tennis camp - I am thrilled about that.

John is doing good.  I had to call him to come back and fix my television set again.  I didn't know they had to disconnect the cable from the outside too and when I turned it on on Thursday night all I got was "snow".  I saw Hans and Frauie playing with something that looked like a battery and when I went to get it, I found it was a television connection.  Then I figured that they had come while I was gone so I called them and found out that they had.  John climbed up on the roof to check the antenna and adjust it and the he changed a few connections and now it is working great.  I will NEVER understand things like that.  John tells me that I have a hold in the muffler on my car - he also said he would like to go with me to get it fixed so they wouldn't take advantage of me - I hope he can.

I am REALLY busy with my mutual job but it is fun. It is amazing to me what a difference the leader can make. Her whole focus is on making it fun for the girls - the other leader was a real stickler for details and rules!!! I am also busy with the extraction work but I do that on my own time so it is easy.

I just love my den now. I don't know what else they could say but all my friends say they like it too. It is such a drastic change that everyone notices it.

I don't have any more news. I surely hope you're all doing good and that you will be VERY CAREFUL IN EVERYTHING YOU DO. Let me know how I can help you. I love you all very much and I'm very proud of you.
