Dearest John; Roy, Patrice, Emily & Timothy; Bob, Claire, Michael, Laura, Brett & Katie; Rick, Jean, Ricky, Barbara Jean, Mary Ann & Sarah; and Ron, Ann, Susanna, Jessie, Russell, LeeAnna & Jimmy:
This will be a short letter. Chris & Wayne came in this morning and I want to write but I don't have very much news. It is really good to see them and they look so good - they have been visiting friends in Beaver and Hurricane. They still have their motor home and they say it is working great.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ron & Jimmy this week!!! They have had the Woolley family reunion this weekend - it was held at that camping park close by the Weinerts and then they planned to go to Lagoon and other places during the time they were there.
Jessie & Barji are finished with their BYU Academy and they had a wonderful time. I went to visit with them for a few minutes last Monday - there were LOTS of young girls and they were from all over. They had roommates from Las Vegas and I met others from California. Jeannie and Barji stopped by for a few minutes on their way home - Barji was anxious to get back home and be with her Farmington friends.
John stopped by for a few minutes this morning and he is doing really good. There was such a good article in the Daily Herald about Viewpoint and my phone has rung off the hook telling me how thrilled they were to see the picture of John. I only have one copy so I will send it to Roy until I get some more - my neighbors have all told me they would save theirs for me. I couldn't help but notice how good John's nose looks - Ha!!! It's a profile of him and I told him Bob would be proud of that nose!
It's the big 24th of July celebration this week here in Utah. I decided that my Laurel class needed to know more about the early pioneers so I took my pioneer books to class to show them and then I made a bread pudding in my crock pot so I could emphasize that the early pioneers never wasted even a crust of bread - I don't believe they were very impressed!!!
I had a phone call yesterday from Del Holmgren in Bear River. His wife had been watching the Sunday Worship Service with her mother yesterday morning and saw the program Daddy & I did. I was surprised that they would show it again - kinda' flattered - Ha!!! I had other calls from people here who had seen it again. Paula Pack and her husband and family came by to visit with me yesterday. You know it can't be too much fun for teenagers to come visit so I really appreciated it. Paula has done a good job with her family and they all just adore their Father who has never held a job to my knowledge. That's all the news!!!
