I had to write a little P.S. to my letter.
The Woolleys and Weinerts came yesterday afternoon and we had such a fun day - I love to see the grandchildren play together. We made some more ice cream (strawberry this time) and it is very, very good and fun for the children to help with - Michael & Laura, I wish you could have been here too.
Today is Claire's birthday - we hope you have a really happy day. We called them last night to wish her a Happy Birthday and it was fun to talk to them and Bob was there too - they are finally getting over their colds and bugs. They said they had had some real ice storms.
I also forgot to tell you that Daddy refinished that old, old Singer sewing machine and it is jut beautiful - I call that our Van Gogh (sp.?). We have put it down at the bottom of the stairway just before going into your room Johnny and I can't tell you how much I love it.
Johnny - the lady at the temple who spent some time in Chile got us a copper picture of the Chilean temple. Daddy framed that too and it looks so nice. She said for me to be sure to tell you because so many missionaries bought them to bring home - I don't know if you really had that in mind (Ha!) but don't because we have one.
I must go to the dentist so will close for now.
